Shields uses the latest in “Hose Technology” to produce Fire-Acol. Fire-Acol meets or exceeds SAE J 1527 and ISO 7840 Type A1 standards. Approved by the USCG, NMMA, and the European community for all pleasure boat fuel systems.-gasoline or diesel-inboard or outboard. High burst pressure ratings allow for use in fuel injection systems. Special layer construction greatly resists permeation by even the most aggressive blends of gasoline and alcohols. Reinforced with two spirals of high strength synthetic fabric. Cover designed to resist heat, ozone and petroleum products.
