CALL FOR SET UP AND STOCK!
2014 Maverick's will require an upgraded clutch housing flange adaptor for the inlet tube to allow installation of the STM clutch under the stock cover.
2015-2016 XMR models will require purchasing of a 2014 clutch housing cover from the dealer to clear the clutching.
The NEW TRIPLE roller option with a 1.25 diameter roller creates a very consistent smooth up shift and back shift with improved roller wear. This latest design creates a huge improvement in engine braking compared to our dual roller tuner. All billet construction is capable of using compression springs with different spring rate options. We have many helix angles available (see list above). We can also provide custom helix angles if you desire, for an additional fee.
We also offer the option of a encapsulated helix design that keeps the driven from unloading, opening and going into high gear during breaking and jumping which some racers require.
Can be used along with the stock primary or the STM primary. Best results are acquired when running both the STM primary and STM tuner together.
When ordering use this guide to help you pick options
For 2014 models with the updated clutch housing cover you must use the 2014 Maverick Clutch Housing Flange with the secondary. The stock housing will not fit without it.
Choose a helix angle - The most popular helix is the 34/40°. It’s a good all-around helix. We found it worked the best for the average to aggressive trail rider.
Number of shims – The amount of shims we install will determine your belt deflection or how tight the belt will be between your primary and driven clutch. Keep in mind we are setting the deflection for a stock belt. If you are installing this with a stock primary clutch or the new STM Rage Gen 2 with the smaller 1-way or 2-way bearing-choose 3 shims. If you are installing this with an older STM primary clutch with the larger 2-way bearing-choose 5 shims. The more shims you add the looser the belt, less shims tighter belt. NOTE: You want to have your belt as tight as possible without the bike creeping forward while in gear at idle.
Choose a post length - Choose the long post if you are running this with a stock primary OR choose the short post if you are installing it with an STM primary-recommended for optimal performance.
Choose a spring– The most popular spring for the stock Renegade and Outlander 800 is the PS7 yellow. This spring works well for most average to aggressive trail riders.
For the 1000 Renegade / Outlander / Commander / Maverick the PS11 pink or PS13 gold spring is recommended. For turbo applications you'll need the KSS12 blue spring.
Comes with a belt removal tool and bolt for installation.
KEEP IN MIND WE CAN ONLY GET YOU CLOSE WITH THE SET UP. Everyone's riding style is different, it’s up to the customer to do the fine tuning!
