Ogio Bags – Interview with Mark Talarico of Ogio Powersports
Ogio bags are trusted by riders who want durable, well-organized, and performance-driven gear storage for every adventure. To understand what makes Ogio bags special, we spoke with Mark Talarico, General Manager at Ogio Powersports, who has been leading the brand with passion and innovation.
The Story Behind Ogio Bags
“My role covers everything from Sales, Product Design, Customer Service, and Marketing,” Mark shares. With over 10 years at Ogio, he ensures Ogio bags continue evolving to meet real rider demands.
Ogio was founded in 1987 by Michael J. Pratt after he designed the first Locker Bag — a smart and convenient way to carry gear. In 1997, Ogio expanded into powersports after seeing the need for tougher and more protective storage options for off-road riders.
This led to the creation of the legendary Ogio Rig 9800 — still the #1 off-road gear bag in the world. Built with rugged materials and smart internal organization, it set a new standard for quality that still drives Ogio bags today.
Global Growth and Performance Innovation
In 2017, Callaway acquired Ogio International, combining two performance-focused brands and accelerating product development. Today, Ogio bags serve athletes and adventure riders worldwide, backed by advanced engineering and a commitment to safety, durability, and style.
Whether on the track, trails, or traveling, Ogio bags give riders the protection and organization they depend on — anywhere in the world.
